Profile: 

Dr Simon Woldman graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1989. He was first appointed a Consultant Cardiologist at The Ayr Hospital, before joining University College London Hospital in 2006.

He is an expert in the management of heart failure and in particular advanced heart failure. The Heart Failure Team have developed an interest in those patients who have failed to respond to conventional therapy.

Dr Woldman is the Chairman of the North Central London Heart Failure task group. Dr Woldman is also an expert in cardiac imaging, especially nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT angiography. He is the immediate past -president of the British Nuclear Cardiology Society.

He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
